There are numerous reasons why people smoke. The author has basically ignored all of them in his arguments against vaping.

While it holds true that the cigarettes do not contain any real tobacco, some of the chemicals found in using tobacco are found in the smokes. The author seems to be of the fact that all we need to do to solve the issue of smoking is to decrease the amount of chemicals we take in through our lungs. The argument he presents is merely not located in sound scientific fact. There is no real proof that reducing the quantity of chemicals we ingest improves anything other than our health and wellness. The author also discounts the idea that the cigarettes are less dangerous than regular cigarettes since they don’t contain the harmful chemicals found in regular cigarettes.
